Washi Cloth" made from traditional Japanese paper fiber

A unique taut fabric made in Nishiwaki, Hyogo, a notable production region of cotton, the Washi Cross is made with Japanese paper fibers woven into the cotton. Its cool and natural "freshly washed" look is achieved through a careful washing process. Toban Textiles of Nishiwaki expertly blends gardenia dye with chemical dyes for stabilization, resulting in a bright, sky blue color.
