The Washi Cloth is a unique, taut fabric made by weaving Japanese paper fibers into cotton produced in Nishiwaki, Hyogo, a notable cotton production region. Its “freshly washed” look is achieved through a washing process, and the refreshing sky blue color is expertly dyed by Toban Textiles of Nishiwaki, blending gardenia dye and stabilizing chemical dyes.
